PROJECT MANAGER
Engage & Resonate is seeking a Project Manager; Live Events. Candidate must be a self-starter with a “hybrid” live event/experiential background rooted in both client-service and hands-on production primarily centered on consumer-facing activations. Candidate must have a proven track record of managing high-profile projects and events professionally and successfully. Must be an excellent multitasker, strong leader and have solid vendor relation and client service skills. Experience with CPG, lifestyle and retail brands is strongly preferred. Candidate must be Chicago based and able to work at our office full-time.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage events from beginning to end, to include concept ideation, logistics and execution and recapping
Manage third party production partners/suppliers
Research and evaluate the event and consumer marketing space to build concept plans that showcase the agency’s understanding of the live event/experiential landscape
Develop plans, proposals, event concepts and marketing materials as required
Create accurate budget estimates for both long and short-term programs
Help negotiate strategic opportunities, partnerships and programming that can be executed locally and nationally
Assess program effectiveness and communicate back to client with feasible improvement solutions
Maintain current knowledge of trends in the entertainment, lifestyle and culture arenas
Have a general understanding of media and how it impacts the success of marketing initiatives
Actively and effectively manage vendors, event producers, promoters, and budgets
Ideate and execute consumer promotions, retail marketing initiatives and overall brand consumer experiences
Execute a variety of events and production related projects
Research, understand, measure, and experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage event technology to achieve overall marketing objectives and goals
Create post-event recap reports that are presented to the client
Day to day client management and team oversight
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Communications or Marketing
4+ years of direct events and production experience, preferably in an agency setting
Experience in large-scale event production is a must
Sincere interest in consumer brands and creating meaningful consumer experiences through events and promotions
High proficiency in the complete Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and excellent understanding of utilizing online and network-based tools for research purposes
Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and multi-task effectively
Management of program budgets, contracts, program administration, etc
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to handle yourself professionally under pressure
Ability and willingness to travel when required for client and program needs

Engage & Resonate is seeking an intern who is interested in experiential marketing to assist with day-to-day operations. The intern should be a creative self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is willing to learn new things each and every day.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing social media, entering data, creating pitch decks, production of activations, and seeking out new business opportunities.

EXPERIENTIAL/LIVE EVENTS PRODUCER
Engage & Resonate is seeking a Producer; Integrated Live Events. Candidate must be a self-starter with a “hybrid” live event/experiential and content production background rooted in both client-service and hands-on production primarily centered on consumer-facing activations. Candidate must have a proven track record of managing high-profile projects and events professionally and successfully. Must be an excellent multi-tasker, strong leader and have solid vendor relation and client service skills. Experience with CPG, lifestyle and retail brands is strongly preferred.
The Producer will oversee individual agency projects as contracted, and manage client relationships. Candidate must be Chicago based and able to work at our office full-time.
Fabrication and content production oversight, along with the ability to positively manage multiple 3rd party suppliers, are central to this position as the Producer drives the overall physical and content production processes in tandem with the Project Manager who will oversee the overall high-level program management and client-facing deliverables. This person must be organized, self-motivated, able to think creatively and quickly, and must be able to approach unique problems in new ways. The ability to work as part of a team is also a critical component of this position.
Primary Responsibilities
Production
Managing and Executing multi-channel projects that include live experiential events, video/content production and social and digital driven initiatives
Developing a detailed plan of action leading it through completion and ensuring that the project is running smoothly during all phases
Working cross-functionally (internally and externally) to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are identified and managed day-to-day in order to successfully meet expectations and project goals
Managing production staff, including assigning individual responsibilities and setting deadlines and deliverables.
Translating creative ideas into project plans and deliverables
Ensuring that integrated event solutions are innovative and strategically relevant, building brand equity and delivering results for the client
Overseeing the creation and maintenance of critical project tracking and documentation.
Developing and managing budgets, handling vendor contract and fee negotiations, ensuring billing and invoicing terms and processes are met
Managing onsite teams to ensure the seamless installation and execution
Ability to travel as we produce projects and events across the country
Project Management
In tandem with the Project Manager, ensuring client priorities and objectives are met and maintained throughout the production/execution
Leading clear and consistent communication and coordination between internal team members, clients and suppliers
Understanding and clearly translating both team and client vision, direction, and needs to 3rd party suppliers
Managing client needs and expectations, while building and strengthening client relationships through superior execution
Assisting with the development and refining of Statements of Work, Purchase Orders and Vendor Agreements

Minimum 8+ years experience as a lead Producer of integrated experiential marketing events and campaigns
Client-facing role within an agency environment
Proven track record developing and managing large, complex suppliers/projects/teams
Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels both internally and externally, including colleagues, clients, partners and vendors
Experience developing and effectively managing large budgets
Ability to lift/move a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly and climb ladders as required
